Mentoring Fonds

Mentoring makes a difference!

With this fund, we provide targeted support to organisations that provide effective social mentoring to children and young people and whose work is currently at risk.

We are awarding 5 × €10,000 to non-profit organisations that

• implement social mentoring,
• work with socio-economically disadvantaged children and young people,
• are currently under financial pressure.

The funds are unrestricted and can be used flexibly.

The selection process consists of two steps:

Preliminary review: The Federal Association for Social Mentoring checks whether the basic criteria for effective social mentoring are met.
Jury decision: Anonymous applications are submitted to an independent jury. The decision is based on factors such as the impact of the mentoring, financial urgency, quality of implementation, diversity and regional aspects.

• Feedback: We will inform the organisations that have been awarded funding on 30 April 2026.
