Because it makes sense. Because it is possible. Because it is necessary to redistribute educational opportunities. Because our society can only develop its full potential for the challenges of the present and the future if all members of this society can contribute a part to the solution. Because there are already more Uğur Şahins and Özlem Türecis in Germany today than our education system allows.

Every child has a right to equal access to education. I am convinced that we should all do our best to ensure that no one is left behind because of their background. There are so many great initiatives that are making a huge contribution to improving educational equity in Germany - together with them, I want to make a difference at Affirmative!

Why am I with Affirmative? Because access to education should not be a matter of luck and an unjust society needs an engaged civil society. Because together with people who are already working for a fair chance to participate, I want to bring about real change and stand up for those who cannot or cannot yet do it alone - children.
